SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration website Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there here is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
